Home Ten Days and Off Again!
I was home ten days and off again for the Southeast. I had dreamed of making a trip to Europe to meet Late Bloomer fans. And that actually happened! I left May 21 and returned home on June 18th, with a stop in New York and upper Michigan at the end. I filmed a garden nearly every day during those four weeks. It was amazing meeting in person and spending time with fans that I’ve developed relationships with online.
When I got home, I dived into editing. I’ve already uploaded four parts, which happened the first three days I was in the U.K. Many more parts are coming, but first I must go and see my mother and family. As long as I’m in Tennessee, I’m going down to Mobile, Alabama, to meet Pat Smith, who writes to me nearly every day and shares her garden photos. Then, on to Charleston, SC, Wilmington, NC, Columbia, SC, Chattanooga, TN, and more! I will see new friends and visit old ones. If I want to go when people’s gardens are lush, I have to go now. Last year, I went on a spring trip to Northeast Gardens and no one had their garden planted yet. This will be a whole new ballgame! I hope you will plan to watch my whole European Gardens series, and after that, Southeast Gardens. I will be editing all fall! The morning after I returned, I filmed this garden update. You’ll see how my packed garden did in my four-week absence.
By doing all this traveling, I’m making a huge push to increase my subscribers on YouTube. If you enjoy my content, please share with friends. I need to make my channel sustainable, and that’s going to require a lot more subscribers. So, thanks in advance for spreading the word! – Kaye
