U.S. Botanic Garden
In January, I visited the U.S. Botanic Garden, located on the National Mall, just west of the U.S. Capitol. I moved to Washington, D.C., after college and spent almost two years there working on Capitol Hill, so I have fond memories of D.C. (It’s also where I met my husband-to-be.) My commute was walking about 25 minutes to the Hill. Each day, I passed by the U.S. Botanic Garden, which went through a four-year renovation, completed in 2011. The garden is a tranquil refuge on a cold, blustery day. Tripods are strictly forbidden, so this love poem video was shot all hand-held. My contract with YouTube partner BroadBand TV allows for free access to a huge library of music, and this video is loaded with great tunes to fit the different plant galleries. Please sit back with a cup of tea and immerse yourself in the U.S. Botanic Garden.
If you enjoy videos like this, please let me know! I love to share, but must grow my audience substantially to continue. Please share the link on social media and with your friends, so they know about this national treasure. Thanks! – Kaye
