Recently, I was interviewed for Joey and Holly Baird’s The Wisconsin Vegetable Gardener podcast. Podcasts are the latest venture into garden programming for Joey and Holly, who, while each working at full-time jobs, grow a garden and create high quality garden videos. I hope you will check out this, their second show, where I talk about how I got started with growing food and creating Late Bloomer; what’s happening in Los Angeles with parkway food gardens; Ron Finley, L.A.’s urban guerrilla gardener; and the Heirloom Expo in Santa Rosa, California, as well as the learning experience of growing food, which is its own reward for the effort.
