Dear Kaye, You are my inspiration! Though I have been gardening veggies and flowers for many years here in upstate NY, one day I needed advice on growing cabbage and I found you. I show your videos to anyone who will listen. You make us feel like your neighbor. I would love to be your neighbor! What a spirit you have and you have sparked my garden bug this year and just now as I was out checking all 90 plus plants that I have, I kept hearing you say “be vigilant” *smiles* THANK YOU⌠Read more
Wow, Kaye, your garden looks Fabulous. We are also shifting over to warm crops now. Few more cabbages, broccoli and peas left. I was pretty happy to see our first baby tomato. BTW, I downloaded your ebook and looking forward for some great tips. Keep up the good work.
I enjoy watching your videos so much! I’m from Hawaii, but at the moment I’m in Minnesota for college and I’ve been having gardening withdrawals. I’ve attempted to grow some things indoors, because I’m in an apartment, but they’ve all failed. I’ll need to do more research and hopefully I’ll be successful. Can’t wait until your next upload!
Kaye, I am from New Zealand and have only in the past six months grown my own veggies! Today was a crappy, rainy day, so I spent it watching all or your videos. I, like you, got hooked on the land as soon as I tried gardening. Your style is magic! I love your spirit, your style and your tips! Hanging out for the next video now!
I LOVE your new site! It’s beautiful, and so chocked full of information thatâs easy to navigate. So happy I checked it out and will be returning over and over again. Just looking at the photos of all the fresh fruits, veggies, and recipes is making me want to go outside and find more spaces to plant a plethora of healthy home grown food for me and my family! AwesomeâŚthanks for creating this wonderful site!
Thank you for this incredibly informative video, Kaye!! And my goodness, YOU are as lovely as your beautiful flowers!!! Will be checking out your others for more of the fun- I’m officially a Late Bloomer from this point on!!! :)))

Tomatoes, corn and watermelon are my faves, since I’m a Southern girl originally, so of course I planted all three. I’ve gotten a few decent ears of corn, which I ate raw right when I picked them. The jury is still out on watermelon (my 20th episode!), but, I’m really enjoying the tomatoes, and so glad I planted different varieties. Just wish I’d gotten the memo about pruning. Every day I’m out tying up limbs heavy with fruit. đ
that’s one gawgeous cornucopia of veggies!
Thanks, Edythe! How are you doing?
If one ever doubted the natural beauty and aesthetic appeal of things as simple as home-grown tomatoes, squash and peppers, this photo would provide some clarity (and enjoyment). Very nice (and with a photo like that, who needs words?).
Thanks, Garden Engineer, I was just thinking about you a little while ago when I was out working in the tomatoes, and just wishing I had used a little more of your engineering when I planted them!
